Already Stubborn!

We've known from the get-go that Mr. Reed tends to do what he wants in his own time. For example, he always tries to hide his face during the ultrasounds when we want to see it, and when the doctors are trying to measure certain parts of his anatomy, he makes it nearly impossible for them to do so! Also, he wants to grow at his own pace, which seems to make the doctors a little bit frustrated, and makes Momma and Daddy a little bit nervous!

We went today for his 4D ultrasound, and it was so bad that they didn't charge us ANYTHING, not even the sitting fee. His feet were over his head, and he was holding his ankles above his face. The only thing we ever got a clear picture of was his little boy parts! We did get the opportunity of seeing his face for a few seconds, but not long enough for the picture to be taken. From the looks of it, he's his Daddy's mini-me! He has Ryan's nose, lips, and chin, but unfortunately has his Momma's ears (which are quite a bit larger than Ryan's)!
None of the pictures were even good enough to post, but we get to try again in two weeks, and HOPEFULLY he'll be a little more cooperative for that visit.
These ultrasound pictures are from Monday of this week, when he was 29 weeks and 3 days. They aren't the greatest, but they're definitely the best we've gotten in awhile. We went to the doctor yesterday, and Reed's head is measuring right where it needs to (it was measuring 29 weeks and 6 days, and he was 30 weeks), but his legs and belly are still behind about 2 to 3 weeks, which isn't a huge problem. He weighs 2 pounds and 4 ounces, and I've gained 6 pounds in a week. They aren't as concerned as they were initially, but we're still looking at twice a week visits, Monday morning being the next. We'll definitely keep everybody posted as to what's going on, and HOPEFULLY we'll be able to post a better picture of him soon!
